Roadworthy certificates in Cape Town
A roadworthy certificate confirms a vehicle is safe for the road. It is needed before a vehicle can be transferred to a new owner or registered, and it is only valid for 60 days, so the timing matters. We book the test, get the vehicle there and come back with the certificate.
When you need this
- You are selling or buying a vehicle
- A vehicle is being registered for the first time, or again
- A vehicle has been flagged as unroadworthy and needs to be cleared
How it works
- 01
Book with us
Tell us the vehicle and when it is free, and we book a slot at a testing station.
- 02
We take it for the test
Brakes, lights, steering, tyres and the rest are checked by the testing station.
- 03
Your certificate is ready
Once it passes, we can go straight on to the transfer or registration.
