Licence disc renewal in Cape Town
Your licence disc has to be renewed every year, and doing it yourself usually means a morning in the queue at the licensing office. Send us your documents instead. We renew the licence at the counter and have the new disc ready for you.

What to have ready
Renewing the motor vehicle licence for a car, bakkie, motorcycle or trailer that is already registered in your name.
- Certified copy of your ID or valid passport
- Proof of address dated within the last 3 months
- The renewal notice (MVL2) if you received one in the post
- Your current or most recent licence disc
- Vehicle registration certificate
Drop-off is available too. We share the address once you are in touch.
